- While driving through the Dutch landscape you will see interruptions. Human sources, factories, smog and huge windmills popping up and interfere with the scenery. It is so different from the landscape I grow up with; I was always surrounded with lakes and deep forest. Now I understand how important this place was and that it left a trace behind in my mind. After moving to Amsterdam I started to add more abstract forms into my work. I used bright colours to introduce Dutch light and at one point the Scandinavian landscape was almost gone. I realized that every time I went back to Sweden I refilled my inspiration, as well love for the Swedish landscape. It all came back and continued to be visible in my work.
